DIRECTIONS
FROM EXETER
Exeter to Walkhampton (Via A30)
> From M5 heading South, exit Junction 31 signposted
A30 Bodmin.
> Stay on A30 until you have passed Okehampton.
> Take the next exit signposted Sourton Tavistock.
> Follow sliproad 300 yards to junction.
Turn left onto A386 to Tavistock.
> Continue on this road for 20 minutes through
Mary Tavy until you approach Tavistock.
Reaching Tavistock
> Coming into Tavistock you pass Kelly College on your right, continue straight ahead approaching 1st mini roundabout.
> Carry straight ahead over mini roundabout and continue onto 2nd Mini roundabout
> Take 1st exit (straight ahead) up hill, over pedestrian crossing and continue along this road for 4-5 miles until you drive downhill approaching Horrabridge.
> Just after you pass the Leaping Salmon Pub on you left turn right over the bridge.
> Carry on up the hill until the end of the road to the T-junction.
> Turn left onto the A386 to Yelverton until you reach the large Yelverton roundabout.
Reaching Yelverton
> At the Yelverton roundabout take the 1st exit signposted B3212 Princetown.
> Continue for half a mile keeping lookout for left turn on bend signposted Walkhampton Inn 17th Century Inn.
> Follow this road down into Walkhampton Village.
> Turn right at the junction when you reach the war memorial
> Continue 100 yrds further on your reach Walkhampton Memorial Hall on your left.
> Turn into Free Car Park.
FROM PLYMOUTH
Plymouth to Walkhampton (Via A30)
> Continue on A38 for 35 minutes passing Buckfastleigh
and then Ivybridge.
> When approaching the outskirts of Plymouth, at Marsh
Mills continue on the A38 over the Marsh Mills Flyover.
> Carry on for a further 1 mile. Exit on the ramps at the next intersection, Mannadon, signposted Mutley and A386 Tavistock.
> Continue up the exit ramps in the right hand lane, to the traffic lights and onto the Mannadon roundabout which will take you right, then over the A38.
> Take the 4th Exit signposted A386 Tavistock just before the flyover above you.
> Continue straight on for 2 miles, past large B&Q store on your left to the 1st large roundabout.
> Continue straight ahead following signs for A386 Tavistock.
> Continue for a further 1 mile to the large open intersection with traffic lights, the George Pub in front of you on your left and Plymouth Airport on your right.
> Continue across this intersection and to the 2nd roundabout.
> Take the 1st exit signposted A386 Tavistock. Continue on this road for over half a mile to the 3rd roundabout.
> Take the 3rd exit signposted A386 Tavistock. Follow this straight road for 4 miles across scrub and moorland until you reach the large Yelverton roundabout.
Reaching Yelverton
> At the Yelverton roundabout take the 1st exit signposted B3212 Princetown.
