DEMONSTRATIONS

BASKET WEAVING - IAN STRUGNALL
This year we are fortunate to have Ian Strugnall visit us again to demonstrate basket weaving and as per last year he will no doubt invite visitors to have a go themselves.

IN PREVIOUS YEARS
In previous years we enjoyed demonstrations from textile artists Jane Deane and Mary Toon, and wildlife artists Richard Woodgate and Robin Armstrong. We were also privileged to have an insight into the working practices of ceramicist and jewellery-maker Claire Wood, and basket-maker and member of the Devon Guild of Craftsmen, Ian Strugnall.

We also ran a series of ' Creature Feature' workshops for children. These workshops gave children, aged four and above, the opportunity to make fabric creatures to their own designs, with a small charge to cover costs and materials.
